Hey Keyclubbers! Just wanted to update you on some recent events...
past events
CCSM Performathon Spaghetti Dinner
We served spaghetti to people, and got to listen to music and eat spaghetti ourselves as well!
OPARC
Everyone got t-shirts, got fed a lot of food, and walked at the park for a good cause! (Sorry about the location confusion!)

upcoming events
Dinner at Taylor Hall
On May 18th, from 1 to 8pm, there will be the annual dinner. The dinner will be held at 1775 N. Indial Hill near Claremont High School. We will help set up as well as seat people. Dinner will be served. There will be one shift from 5 to 8pm.
Installation Dinner
Come eat with your 2008-2009 Key Club board!! It will be held on May 22nd at 6pm at the IHOP restaurant on Euclid. It's preferred that you come dressed formally. You will need to bring money to order whatever you want to eat. (NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SERVICE EVENT, THEREFORE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE HOURS)
Country Fair at Baldy View
We will help set up Baldy View Elementary School's Country Fair! Set up begins at 2:45pm and training will begin at 4:30pm. The actual fair is between 5-7pm.
Relay For Life
Relay For Life will be held from May 31st, to June 1st, at Magnolia Park. It's a 24 hour event that we will help show support to families and friends that were affected by the loss of their loved ones. If you plan on spending the night, please bring a tent or something to sleep in and keep you warm! Come to the meetings for more info!
Quang's DCM
Quang's first DCM will be held on Friday, May 30th from 4 to 7 or 8pm. It will be at the Kiwanis Building and there will be an Officer Training Conference. Everyone is welcome, including other schools from our division, and there will be dinner served as well. Come show your support for him!

changes and updates
Hey Keyclubbers! You may notice some major changes in a couple of events. OPARC Walkathon is actually being held at MAGNOLIA park in Upland, and Dinner at Taylor Hall is only from 5-8pm with 1 shift (we still need 15 people to show up).
The Upland Street Fair is taking place now, and Key Club will have our very own booth in Downtown Upland. We will start a fundraiser for the club soon, but we need ideas for it! Some thoughts during the meeting included bracelets, unique food, and pencils. Basically, anything that is different from what the other businesses at the Street Fair are selling. If you have anything in mind, you can e-mail us at keyclubuhs@gmail.com. We are always up for new ideas!
We know it is nearing the end of the school year, but service in Key Club will still resume! Don't forget about the upcoming summer events! We will have more info soon for the weekly Concerts in the Park!

quick update
Hey Keyclubbers! I just fixed a few errors I made on the events so make sure you have the right info written down! I just added the Country Fair Night at Baldy View Elementary info up, so check that out.
I just want to remind everyone that we are still tutoring after school for Citrus Elementary School, so if you can, please come out and help us every Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:45 to 5pm. School is coming to an end, so let's do all that we can for the rest of the year! I also want to mention about the upcoming fundraiser we will soon have. We will be selling mini golf tickets for people to be able to play any time they want to for a month.

quick update
Hey Keyclubbers! Thanks to everyone who came out and helped with Lemon Festival this past weekend! Through all the heat and labor, I'm sure it'll pay off at the end of the year. As for recent news, we have an upcoming event this Saturday, May 3rd. Key Club, along with other sponsors, are having a walk, similar to MS Walk and Relay For Life, the OPARC Walkathon at Memorial Park in Upland from 10am-2pm. This event was not posted on the last agenda, so make sure that if you want to go, sign up for it!

HELLO!
Hey Keyclubbers! Before I get started, I just wanted to say that Katherine has done a very decent job with maintaining the club's website!! Now that the 08-09 term has begun, I will take the throne in honor to make this the best Key Club website ever!! :D
lemon festival
This year's Lemon Festival in downtown Upland will be held this weekend from Friday through Sunday. Please be sure to come at your appointed time! Food and awards will be given in return for volunteering!

district convention and hours
Welcome back "dcon-ers"!! I'm sure they had just as much fun as they did with previous Key Club Convention experiences. If you didn't get the chance to go this year, then you can get a head start with hours for next year! Be sure to go to as many events as possible, as the competition for top hours is high, and only limited spots for Convention are available!
harley davidson fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who came and helped us fundraise in the Harley Davidson Fundraiser! We raised a total of $600, while Kiwanis raised $38,000! Look forward to more fundraisers in the future!
uhs friday food fair
Key Club sold 1,500 smoothies today! Thanks to everyone who dropped by and bought a smoothie! Pictures are posted up, and since this week is the start of a new beginning, pictures will now be posted under "Photo Archives 08-09"!
